Are there any republican senators left who are willing to bolt?
Jeffords did it when there was a razor thin republican majority in the senate.

Now the dynamics require what, 2 or 3 to say "ENOUGH!"?

Forgive me not looking up the ratios, it's late, but aren't there at least two or three North East RINOS left who have the guts, ethics, and morals, to say "NO MORE"?????

How could a "liberal" republican stay a republican in these times? They HAVE to feel lost and betrayed by now. Are they worth their weight in horse crap? Or not...

1. IF Democrats gain control of the Senate...
look for 2-3 of the 'liberal/moderate' Republicans to shift (as many conservative Democrats did in 1994). Until then: it must get much worse or look like Dems are taking the Senate in '06 for any to switch.

2. Gut check time for all pubs who still believe in
a Government of the people and not the corporate fascism that is taking hold now. Hopefully there are a few left that will come over to the light.

4. What I don't understand
is I know some republicans are not extreme and I wonder how they can always vote for extreme measures against what would seem their conscience. Are they just that scared of retaliation by their own party that they can't part with a vote on controversial matters? Or is it that some I thought might be moderate are really not?
