George Bush should be impeached. Whether he will be impeached depends on the intestinal fortitude of Congress. But the evidence is clearly sufficient to begin proceedings.

The grounds for impeachment rest in the now-familiar circumstances around.......

1. yet another republican scandal that escaped major investigation
it always amazed me how they got away with this.

the fact that the hostages were released 20 minutes into the reagan presidency is itself quite compelling evidence of a deal.

2. Afte this article was written
Attorney Paul Wilcher sent a letter to Attorney General Janet Reno claiming he had proof that Bush was involved in the 1980 Oct. Surprise. Three weeks later Wilcher was found dead sitting on a toilet in his apartment, cause of death unknown and his body was cremated. I think Wilcher had a video from the cockpit of an SR-71 Blackbird that Poppy flew back across the Atlantic in. The pilot, Gunther Russbacher, came forward and said it was true, he had flown Poppy back.

3. oh, and by the way
think that since poppy bush pardoned all his co-conspirarators, we can no longer build a case against poppy?

well, since they are all pardoned, they no longer have 5th amendment rights against self-incrimination. so they can be compelled to testify against poppy.

if they refuse, they can be jailed for contempt indefinitely. if they lie, they can be tried for perjury.
