2. There's far more than enough criminality to warrant impeachment , ...
... and imprisonment of the people in the Bushoilini Cabal without resorting to anything as specious as 'revenge' as a motive. Nixon deserved to be imprisoned. He got off light. (I say this as one who voted for him in his first term, sad to say.)

4. Not really. "They" started in on Bill after the election, but before
he took office.
Take Monica out of the equation, then what is left? That is what Clinton should be judged on.
Most of the hypocrites had their own side show sex going on as they were charging and condemning Clinton for his. But people seem to forget that part.

6. An eye for an eye will leave the world blind
To impeach Bush and Cheney would make us (democrats) look like small, vengeful children. Limiting his effectiveness to run the country into the ground until he leaves office is the highest priority. With solid gains in the 2006 mid-terms even many repubs will abandon him in their effort to survive politically. Then take the WH in 2008 and start to undo the damage. This is far more important than to impeach the lowly bastards.

7. i don't really crave revenge either
i think we should just remove them from our government on plain principle. they are shitty 'elected' officials, and they need to be removed, or the whole world is in peril.

9. Let The World Court Have 'Em
If there's anything these Neo-Cons would dread...it would be facing a tribunal...led by the UN...in the Hague (one reason I believe Bolton's being forced on the UN to make sure that never happens).

This regime has already shown plenty of just cause for an investigation into war crimes and hopefully someday some, if not all of these goons will be called accountable for their crimes.

Impeachment didn't weaken Clinton, it strengthened him in his approval ratings...it weakened the whole country in general. An impeachment of this regime would be even more polarizing and even with a Democratic controlled House & Senate, the mood of the country just wouldn't tolerate another one of those circuses.

I'd be very content in letting an international court handle this matter...and the thought of a Rumsfeld or Wolfowitz or Pearle or Bolton sitting in the dock in the Hague is fitting and should be demanded by the sane world.

10. So many better reasons to impeach than revenge for Clinton,
but if that gets more people interested, why not include that motivation, too?

It's just, for me, nothing short of Bush in a jail cell along with his cohorts is going to provide any real satisfaction. I realize there's really no way that's going to happen and while I don't think it would be wise, as a certain former Democratic candidate for President knew, to pursue ruthless and immediate humiliation--I'll settle for absolute castigation and condemnation in the history books. If the planet holds out long enough for there to be all that many of them.
