CLARIFICATION: Sinners unhappy with new pope

Comments about the new pope by former North Dakota Gov. George and Jane Sinner on Wednesday appeared incomplete compared to a reference to them....

Based on "CLARIFICATION: Sinners unhappy with new pope
Comments about the new pope by former North Dakota Gov. George and Jane Sinner on Wednesday appeared incomplete compared to a reference to them...."

Wouldn't it be more grammatically correct for the headline to have been "Gov. Sinner is unhappy..." or "Sinner is unhappy..." or even "Sinner's unhappy...".

Ahhh, the continuing dumbming down of the American populace!
