Cheney backs end of filibuster......Geez, big surprise!!!

WASHINGTON, April 22 - Vice President Dick Cheney plunged the White House into the judicial confirmation battle on Friday by saying he supported changing the Senate rules to stop the Democrats from blocking judicial nominees and would, if needed, provide the tie-breaking vote. ~snip~

Now there's a big surprise, Cheney voting to end democracy by depriving the 'opposition' of the filibuster. Why don't the republicans do what they really want to do and just exclude democrats from the process entirely? I'm sure they can gerrymander the rules so
theirs is the only vote that counts. That's what democracy is ALL about, right Dick-Head?

We have to get behind Harry Reid and give them the fight they're asking for.

McCain has announced that he won't support the "nuclear option." I think he wants to hang it around Frist's neck and then use it against him in the GOP primaries.
