You know, I have a Proposal, DU should Establish the Golden Loofa Awards (Loofa in honor of Shrill O'Lielly and his Kinky persuasions) for various categories of Right Winger Nonsense.
Examples would be:
Biggest LIE of 2005 from A Politician
Biggest Lie of 2005 from A Talking Head
Biggest Boon-doggle
Biggest Scandal
Best Example of Right Wing/Republican Agenda
Biggest Hypocrite in a Non-Elected Office.
Just an idea...

the annual Democratic Underground "Golden Loofah" award to the biggest Conservative scumbags of our times. I imagine none of them would be present to accept the award, but maybe some would tape a little message for the award ceremony.
It could turn into quite an event. Contact the Admins about it. Throw it up against the wall and see if it sticks? :shrug:
An annual DU meetup somewhere would be terrific. But could we have it inside? I don't want to go through the freeps troubles with porta potties. OK?

But the first 2 categories, as well as the last one, could be daily awards. And the others weekly or monthly at best/worst.
The flow of lies fron the right is that constant, and that shameless.

That's why we need to have an Award for the Most outrageous examples of Right Winger/Repuke/Freeper Insanity and criminality.
The daily violations could be used to help tally the final results.
