Freepers are out like mad trying to discredit the latest from Gannongate |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-24-05 09:42 PM by sabra
I am guessing we are on to something here... check out the threads @ DU, and some of the first comments at Rawstory, the freeper operatives are out, and they are trying in full force.
Well guess what Freepers, it ain't going to work... We are going to keep peeling the onion!

1. They held a fricking rally for the guy |
|
Even though everything about his prostitution was posted, Kristinn who runs the DC chapter of FR still held a rally in support of the guy. Funny thing is, the rest of FR actually thought he was crazy to host a rally for someone who clearly the Repuke party needs to disassociate themselves with

I think most of them don't want to hear about him and some despise him. But there are still some that like him.

13. Yep. I saw video of Hannity referring |
|
to Gannon as a "distinguished journalist" when Gannon was a featured source on his show. Don't think good ole Sean has come clean on Gannon's real name, real occupation, and real background. Silence. The hypocrisy of these guys. No. Sean's not talking about his "distinguished journalist" source. Who was never a Marine. Ask Quantico. Just act like it never happened. Which is the way of the Bushies. If the news is bad, make it disappear.

16. Hey, isn't buckeye the infamous freeper of the Dan Rather memo? |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-24-05 09:36 PM by Straight Shooter
If Free Republic shows him posting on the Jiffy-Lube Jeff case, then that's the White House giving him the talking points. You can bet Scotty's bottom on it.
edit: oops, it's not on FR, but is it the very same buckeye?

Who ever it is, they were there waiting for the various sites, to post their Gannon story. And start with there, "what's the big deal" bit.... Buckeye's posts are one of the first posts....

22. Yes, but they are not complete! |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-24-05 10:34 PM by hootinholler
Look at the transmittal letter Page 2, The SS states these records do not reflect the type of badge he was issued, because the access control system does not capture that info.
Aren't they obligated to look it up manually then? Or at least provide a cross reference to the badge ID to type of badge. The provided response is incomplete with regards to the request. They also do not provide the policy under which the badges were issued and the responsible authority (Gov't employee) for issue.
I also want to know if these passes allowed 'unescorted' access to the white house. Most gov't space requires an escort for temporary passes if there is anything even remotely sensitive in the building.
I would also like to know if he actually attended the briefings he was present for. Perhaps cspan recordings would be helpful in that regard.
