"Christian Debt Consolidation" |
|
http://www.christiandebtconsolidation.org/?OVRAW=debt%20consolidation&OVKEY=debt%20consolidation&OVMTC=contentWhat on earth is going on, are we truly headed to a one-faith state or are people jumping on the people-of-faith bandwagon to promote their goods?

1. Jesus specifically forbid usury |
|
Christians cannot loan money to someone, especially another Christian, and charge interest. so I guess Christian debt consolidation would be fabulous "oh, just way us whenever"

2. Looks like a marketing ploy to attract Christians... |
|
who also happen to be idiots. What exactly do they do that is different from other debt consolidators? Do they start each appointment with a prayer that they can help lower your interest rate?
That photo in your post makes me cringe!

We have a personal injury lawyer here in Houston, who's tag line is "Christian Lawyers".
Is that an oxymoron, or what?
Good Gawd, the GOP has gotten me sick of hearing the national anthem, seeing the flag everywhere, and now hearing about God. Is nothing sacred in their quest for dominance?
We've reached the day the music died.

6. They've been doing this sort of thing for years... |

There's a whole "Christian" or "Bible-based" Protestant wacko subculture that provides nearly every service you can think of (accountants, lawyers, real estate agents, probably landscapers too) so all the like-minded protestant wackos can go to them and not have to expose themselves to the ungodly cooties of the Unsaved. James Dobson (Focus on the Family) got his start as a "Christian psychologist".

The ever present fish is a pretty common sight here in Joe-Jah.
OTOH, my local repair shop keeps a stack of Mother Jones back-issues in the waiting area. And no fish on the sign. My kinda place.
