I hate to say it, but I can actually empathize with the radical Muslims at this level. How can any sane person keep their cool when forced to deal with these lying bastards.

We have been forced into a war on virtually every meaningful front there is in our society.

I really do hate to rant, but I am sick of these bastards sticking their nose where it does not belong and trying to "evangelize" the world. If we loose PBS to these thugs, then it will be the last straw.

Until Democrats stop,scapegoating their own, and take their own bigotries and words into account and realize this hypocrisy is in themselves they will not be morally better than the right wing bully party,all that much..Even though ethically they are far better and more human than cheep labor republicans..

I feel this same domination sickness is in here and on all sides of the political spectrum too.We need to be better people to each other .We can start by stopping the bashing of people, and start pointing out the harm of bad behaviors,and bad systems of beliefs ,we can judge these actions and choices people make without tearing down a person's humanity or scapegoating them.
We can call out ,judge and condemn any toxic beliefs and inhuman attitudes that encourage and sanction human cruelty exploitation or abuse and call this inhumane behavior "good".

Some forms of Christianity are not all bad(even when their text is corrupted) because the people have a stronger inner understanding of human rights ethics and grasp of human dignity that overrides the evil in the bible,(quakers UU Etc).They are saner with their insane religion.

Unlike the bible/Koran thumpers who don't have a moral compass based in empathy or decency ,so they subject human rights to a text and avoid responsibility for the harm their beliefs cause..Because they are moral relativists in a bad way, posing as moral absolutists.They have no humane sense of ethics when they use old texts to justify human rights abuses they do today.

The world is a much richer place when differences can be appreciated. I am not sure that the practice of "evangelizing" is compatible with anything other than its own.

Watching "Justice Sunday", or witnessing the relentless attack on our social programs, the lies surrounding the war and everything republican, has taken its toll on me.

I am beginning to understand the powerless who resort to terrorism in a much more intimate way. While I have never been violent, I am beginning to see why others get that way, and I can almost condone their efforts.

how racial minorities and GLBT's feel.

In fact, I empathize and identify more with them nowdays than a lot of whites.

I looked up Ken Bode. The newly appointed ombudsman for PBS. Needless to say, I'm not impressed. He's written that his worst day was the day Reagan was shot. Now, I would agree that having the POTUS shot is not a good thing, but to recall it as the worst day ever?

I'm so war weary from being attacked. When I hear the talking head Cons talk and make their snide about "Democrat" this or that, I want to spit in their faces because they might as well be punching me in the face. It's what they dream of doing; beat into submission with words.

the book "The Ugly American" came out. No one needed to make me read this book to see it, because I saw it everyday. Local people would tell me that I was okay even though I was a Yanqui. They were too polite to use the word they used behind our backs, Gringa.
