Is Bush a coward?
I don't mean morally or spiritually, I'm referring to actual, physical, cowardice. From having Daddy duke him into a NG slot and then training on an aircraft that he KNEW would not see combat; to his abysmal "Bunnypants" performance on 9/11; to his refusal to appear before any group composed of individuals other than supporters and campaign donors; to the unprecedented security in regard to access to his person (unless you are a faux-journalist/gay hooker); the question begs to be answered - is the President of the United States a real, honest-to-goodness chickenshit?

6. Let's me put it this way
The yellow stripe down his back is so wide and so bright, that if he were riding down a dark road at night, he wouldn't need a reflective vest.

8. yes, of course
I might cut him some slack for his bunker-hopping on 9/11 and chalk it up to his Secret Service detail. But his fear of the American public is overwhelming and utterly cowardly.

17. He certainly was back in 1971 when he went AWOL....
...and he demonstrated cowardess when he was in that Tampa elementary school class-room on 9-11. But his biggest show of cowardess has been throughout all of his public appearances, screening out and baring anyone who might show opposition to him.

20. In a word, yes.
He was afraid of flying, yet wrangled into the TANG. He's scared of horses, yet lives on a "ranch". He swaggers and talks big like a banty rooster, yet runs and hides from protesters. He's a mama's boy and he is constantly seeking to prove to her that he's better than his dad. Sick bastard.

You know that Capitol One commercial where David Spade sics that angry biker on the guy in the yellow shirt? The guy runs and screams like a little girl. When I see that, I think of Bush. I do think he screams like a little girl.

that he's afraid of horses! That's why the big cowboy rides a bike on his "ranch". I don't believe there are any photos of him on a horse. (if you don't include Chenney!)

23. I don't think "coward" is apt.
It certainly isn't in regard to him flying with TANG. You've got to admit, it takes some cubes to drive a jet fighter — maybe more so an F-102, which was designed in the '50s and lacked the fly-by-wire technology and system reduncancy of modern aircraft. And as far as him getting into a "champagne" unit — well, hell, a whole bunch of guys avoided service in Nam, one way or another. Were they all cowards?

I wouldn't call his insulation from the general public "cowardice," either. The boy simply, obviously, never had to contend with dissention, so he enjoys the equivalent of having a house full of big brothers as his shield from the bullies. He lacks the skills necessary to deal with people in a political or business arena — except for an apparently infinite supply of bullshit and utter disregard for truth, and perhaps the inability to distinguish truth from fiction. (Child-like concept: If a lie works, it isn't a lie.)

27. Details of his "flying" career are sketchy at best.
He certainly never kept up his skills after his "service"--which he really didn't complete. He never protested the War--he was glad to let others die in his place; just as he's sent many to die in his own filthy little wars.

His insulation from the general public probably has less to do with his own cowardice than the fears of his handlers. When he was running for Governor here, he was certainly no intellectual. But he was able to string a few words together "off the cuff." His mental status has noticeably degenerated since then. Protesters or "hard" questions might cause an outburst; therefore, he's insulated from any difficulties.

He IS afraid of horses.

32. F-102 and the shrub
There are only two photos I've ever seen of him near an F-102;
one in the cockpit, one posed by the ladder. I truly wonder if he ever actually learned to drive the Dagger. Fucking liar, he is.
And his poppy, too. All this shit has me thinking we're living in
a dada-absurdist-nihilist nightmare play... Revolution is the only
solution; count on the Pentagon to join our cause soon. At least
pray for it. People Power!

28. Absolutely, positively w/o a doubt he's a flaming coward
He is ruled by fear not only of physical harm but of the slightest gesture of disapproval or disrespect.

Plus, he's a narcissist and they're paranoid in the extreme about pain.

30. Oh yes...
He has no physical courage. He seems the type that'd let a child die in a housefire rather than take a calculated, but fairly safe, risk to save it by entering the building.

34. Colin Powell sez Dumbya is a coward
In Colin Powell's autobiography, My American Journey, on P.148, he states, "I am so angry that so many of the sons of the powerful and well-placed managed to wangle slots in Reserve and National Guard units. Of the many tragedies of Vietnam, this raw class discrimination strikes me as the most damaging to the ideal that all Americans are created equal and owe allegiance to their country."
It pisses me off that Powell, the American Legion, the VFW, etc. will not say anything critical about these chickenhawks, even though they treat us vets like dirt!!!
