Gallup's April 18-21, 2005 national survey of 1,003 randomly selected Americans included this simple question: "If you could talk with President George W. Bush for fifteen minutes and give him advice about anything that's on your mind, what would you tell him?"

The following are verbatim responses to that survey question. (Note: Gallup edited these responses for language.)

My 15 mins with President Bush:

5 mins of stunned almost silence thanking him for providing steady and strong moral leadership in troubled times.

5 mins of learning how he stays focused and finds time to pray with all of the whirlwinds that spin around him daily.

3 mins of emphatically encouraging him to continue the fight to reform SS and the Tax code.

2 mins of trying to covince him I am not in fact too old to date his daughters. (I imagine that this would take less than the alloted 2 mins as both he and my wife would send me on my merry way at about the 3 second mark.)
