What are your thoughts on Lou Dobbs? |
|
I have mixed feelings, and I can usually spot a bullshitter a mile away. He seems like a no-nonsense type of guy-but does anyone know what his political affiliation is?

Dobbs is a mixed bag. He's a very non-nonsense guy and an old school (read: *not* a theocratist) Republican. That said, he's never been particularly anti-social. Not a liberal, mind you, but not a nut. I also hear he's a member of dreaded (by some) Opus Dei, but I've never seen that stated as a documented fact.
On balance, I like the guy. If for no other reasons than he seems a straight shooter who has clear views and is consistent and clear in stating them.
Do I agree with him? ...... mmmm ... not so much. Do I respect him. Yes. Do I trust him? Yes. Unlike so many of the current public faces of the Republicans, he seems not to have a forked tongue and unblinking eyes ... yanno?

5. I have been wondering the same thing |
|
Another person told me he said he voted for Bush and contributed to his campaign, however I don't know this for a fact. My husband says he is a republican and can't be trustee, he has in the last 6 months give the Bush Administration a hard time, especially on imorting jobs among other things.

6. Lou is disgusted with the NeoCONS and he does a great job... |

on the exporting of America. I think he is not a happy camper at CNN and he certainly didn't appreciate the crappy anti-Randi smear he was assigned.
