Terrorist Computer.... hmmmm
The US is reporting the have one of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's computers.http://www.dailybulletin.com/Stories/0,1413,203~26127~2837193,00.html\

I am not one of the conspiracy types but this whole story strikes me as odd. I can see no reason for a terrorist to keep detailed anything on a computer. Not to mention you would think that power is not readily available in some of the places he is hiding. The pictures thing is even stranger. Just kind of odd....

1. Especially since finding "terrorist's computers" is a pattern....
sort of like finding the passports of the 911 hijackers in the wreckage though we couldn't find the black boxes nor the remains of so many killed in the carnage.

several months ago....remember that? sometimes these CIA presidents get those ME names confused -- The secret plans they found were how Chalabi & his son plan to invest all the Iraqi money now that they control the treasury.

sheesh...this is one whack mess

edited: son, not brother, my bad

3. i find it fishy as well.
not that they found his computer, but that he would leave behind something so important, confidential and portable.

also the fact that it was mentioned that he had a "big hard drive", technically that doesn't mean jack. a big hard drive is nothing without actual data on it.

oh and then there is the other problem of zarqawi being a one legged dead guy.

4. They are reporting that they found pictures of him in "My Pictures"
file!!!

It was a laptop, they found it in the back of the pickmeup truck that he was in when he jumped out and hid under the underpass...as shown on TV news in cartoon form, just so's the sheep in the heartland can easily swallow it.

They have been trying and trying--and TRYING--to morph the Saddam-Usama evil-wicked-fear on to al Zarquawi. It has NOT worked. I have a few theories why I think it isn't selling to the nitwits who buy anything from this regime:

1. There are no good photos of this guy.

2. There is NO video--dummies like bright colors that move. Even better if the evildoer is shooting a gun (Usama and Saddam both had great gun shots!). There isn't even any compelling audio in a threatening tone (of course, you can be ordering a fruit salad in Arabic, and it sounds like a threat to Americans!!!).

3. No one can pronounce, or spell, this guy's name. If he had a street nic, like BOOBOO ABOO, they'd be on him like a cheap suit. But names that have Z's and Q's in them are just too "furrin" for the morning crowd at the Chomp and Brew.

5. al-Zarqawi
is a phantasy figure--nothing they say about him makes sense. My favorite was when they found his "headquarters" in Falluga--they could tell it was his headquarters because there was a sign: "Al Qaida Headquarters"

6. Not a fantasy figure but I think they may be over stating his importance.
His eventual death or capture would only have a temporary effect on attacks. Someone will just step up and replace him.

7. I suspect they are actually
overstating his existence

though there is always that possibility of resurrection

8. Sounds fishy to me also
They pulled the car over, but said nothing about the driver or occupants in the car, was the car driving itself? Questions that pictures of Z on the hard drive were found unless fake pictures were on it, in fact strange a computer would be left behind, also $107,00 left behind? Were they leaving it for those who found this? Just more lies.
