So...how is Liberal Radio doing? |
|
When Air America first came out, I listened to the Franken show online in the morning. Now I work the day shift, and there aren't any stations in rural areas yet. Still, how successful is it? Is it still growing? Profiting?
I hope so, because it's needed. I'd like to see some programs for Southerners or evangelicals...maybe they have them and I just haven't been listening lately.

I think they are doing okay, but I'm not entirely sure... I know they seem to be slowly adding stations here & there.
Good idea on show for religious types. Is the Rev. Barry Lynn (or, is it Lindon?) available at all? He was pretty good the few times I've heard him on Morning Sedition.

I think he's the president of "Americans United for the Separation of Church and State."
I wish Jim Wallis would do a show, or at least a short radio spot. That would be interesting, but I doubt he would want to.

2. They gained one new listener yesterday. |
|
Me. I never got the hang of this whole internet radio thing until yesterday; Springer was the first thing I listened to and I'm listening again now.

3. See "Left of the Dial" |
|
If you get a chance, check out "Left of the Dial" on HBO. It's a well-done documentary on the launch of Air America, the good bad and ugly.
