What would make people around Bush so mad that they do not see

anything wrong in subverting the Constitution to accomplish their ends? And who knows what ends they seek? No one knows what really motivates them.All we know is that they are mad at Americans, Iraqis,Islam,fags,girls getting premarital sex, abortions.You name it they are hopping mad at something or other.

In trying to figure this thing out I have come out with one explanation.Doubtless there are many more.So here goes my two cents worth.They, meaning Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld,have decided that most Americans cannot be trusted to exercise power.It is only them, the almighty, all knowing, Ivy League endowed Elite that knows how to run this country and perhaps the entire world. The riff raff should take their proper place and be content to obey our masters who know better,no quesions asked.

Don't tell me this is a dictatorship because they will let you watch your favorite program on TV.

mans problems' all over if you get what I mean. I would think we can rightly believe that Bush and Co. are with the 'we are the ruling class class of people' and in truth really believe it. Ever read about the Romanov's? They were like so many of this class that were sort of badly educated or just educated in a narrow way and thought they knew best. FDR was of that class and some how missed out on the stuff that comes with it. With our luck we will get Jeb next. I once read the Father Bush told George "we do not marry that type of person" when he first wanted to get married. Having grown up a WASP I do think I understand this stuff in some ways. It smells to high heaven.

9. Most of what you mentioned is a smokescreen.

Abortion, gays etc they really don't give a shit about any of that. Its the same reason why even though they have pretty much complete control you will never see anything being seriously proposed for this stuff.

Why? Because they need it to get elected, so they can never do anything about it, they need it constantly boiling.. like abortion, the last election gay rights.

What its really about is money and power, that why things like the Bankrupcty Bill get passed, those are the things the REALLY care about.
