Very cute. Hehe! I enjoyed the show. And Peter and the wife (her named left me) were trying to destroy a second "Passion" movie. Haha!

5. Saw it in its entirety for the first time last night
That show is hysterical. Woke up laughing in the middle of the night.
"Honey, honeeee! (jerks the wheel to the left so his wife's head bangs on the window) Oh, you're awake? Hand me the pretzels." Haaaaa!

6. for some real laughs check out the freepers posts about family guy
before it aired they were real excited about it. Afterwords some were really pissed off. lol

here we go.

from the freeps

. This is gonna be great!

A synopsis an the new episode:

"North By North Quahog"

Peter decides to take Lois on a second honeymoon. But when things go awry, they end up posing as a famous actor/director to stay in his fancy hotel suite, where they inadvertently discover a copy of "The Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This." Peter and Lois attempt to destroy the film and end up in a high-speed chase with two Catholic priests hell-bent on saving the movie.

I try to catch Family Guy on Cartoon Network every night; it's one funny, biting, satirical cartoon.

CN runs a whole lot of crap during Adult Swim (like all that lazy, boring Japanese nonsense), but thank God for Futurama and Family Guy.

Robot Chicken has its moments, too.

and this one

Well, this is my last episode of Family Guy ever (new or rerun on Adult Swim). I was hoping the left wing drooling would stay with American Dad, but this is just too much. When a cartoon ticks you off, it isn't worth watching. "Christians don't believe in gravity." Where is the humor in that statement? It's just making fun of conservatives and Christians. If this is Fox's Sunday night lineup, Leftwing (and stale) Simpsons + Anti-Christian Family Guy + Anti-War on Terror American Dad, goodbye Fox. I hope the advertisers feel it. I'm no social learning theorist, I loved the wacky apolitical Family Guy and the lewdness of Seinfeld/Curb Your Enthusiasm and the irrationality of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but these things were, are, and should be an ESCAPE from the political wars, not programs infested with the wrong, ignorant, frothing-at-the-mouth venom of leftwing hate mongers. At least Seinfeld was cancelled and ATHF stears clear of it. Family Guy, bye-bye.

this guy is either a freep with a sense of humor or one of us.
To: 0siris

Oh come on.

The episode was hilarious.

And I am a conservative Christian.

It wasn't one of the best episodes, but at least the show hasn't jumped the shark.

but they don't think it's funny
To: rwfromkansas

Oh come on.

The episode was seriously lame.

And I'm not even Christian. (Agnostic)

American Dad was unbearably pathetic as well. The main character is utterly despicable. Crazy coincidence! He's a staunch Republican! Who woulda thought?!

McFarlane has jumped the shark.

I liked Family Guy before, but tonight's episode was just plain offensive....from the cracks about the war in Iraq, to Brian reading Dude, Where's My Country?, to the depiction of Jesus as being an Uzi-wielding, action-movie caricature, to Brian and Stewie planting cocaine in the Tucker kid's locker.....Family Guy came back and took the jump on the first episode. I'm not watching it anymore, that's for sure, and I liked it the first time around, and was pleased to see it back on "Adult Swim".

Sheesh.....first no more Sealab 2021 and now Family Guy blows chunks.....this bites!

I'd bet good money that "Bombardier" is another foaming-at-the-mouth member of the 101st Fighting Keyboarders. If he's all for "destroying it" he needs to get his (no doubt) cowardly ass to a military recruiter pronto. But since he's a freeper, he probably won't.

Edited to be less aggressive. (Feelin' surly today.)

14. What idiots. Family Guy has always been a little to the left
And, there are other important things to keep in mind too.

One, first and foremost, its SATIRE. Satire pokes fun at current administrations. McFarline took shots and Clinton and Gore too.

It's not his job to kiss Bush's ass. Just because everything else shamelessly fawns over Bush doesn't mean that all forms of entertainment should be a right wing circle-jerk.

Secondly: Bush is a moron, and the radical Christain right is out of control. These people are made fun of because they deserve it.

24. The "gavity joke"
that christians don't believe in gravity -

I'm guessing it's because christians are trying to say that the theory of evolution is just a theory, when in science, the "theory" implies that it is a fact.

So according to the logic by conservative christians, the theory of gravity would mean that gravity is just a theory, and not a fact.

I may not be explaining this right, but that's the basic jist of what they were getting at.

7. So this means freepers'll be abandoning FoxNews now, too? Didn't think so.
They have a whole damned channel acting as the unofficial propaganda arm of the Bush White House and they get upset that Family Guy and American Dad lean left? Pathetic. To quote Peter Griffin, "Oh, they can kiss the fattest part of my ass!"

18. "The Simpsons" episode last night had a really funny anti-FoxNews
moment in it. (The second episode that was on last night.)

In the episode Bart gains a bunch of weight after vending machines are installed in Springfield Elementary. When Bart tells his parents that the cartoon characters painted on the machine made it seem like the food was okay, Homer says something like, "You shouldn't always believe everything a corporate-created mascot tells you, Bart. (pulls out stuffed fox toy wearing a tiny FoxNews t-shirt) Isn't that right, Foxy the FoxNews Fox?"

(Paraphrased, obviously.)

10. I saw a preview of one of their upcoming shows.
I don't watch it but I remember the preview. The guy was at the dinner table threatening his daughter to eat all of her dinner or President Clinton will come by and sexually harass you...something like that. He knocked under the table pretending it was President Clinton at the door.

I didn't think that was funny at all. But I'm sure the freepers did.

15. I thought that was pretty funny, the American Dad preview about Clinton
Keep in mind that the main character is a stereotypical right wing blowhard sycophant.

The line about Clinton is just keeping with that mentality.

26. Only because they don't get half the joke.
That being that RWers use Clinton for everything, and Clinton is the boogeyman. Clinton's fault we have high prices, Clinton's fault Iraq was "hostile", Clinton's fault the economy is crap now, Clinton's fault for September 11, Clinton's fault kids are having sex, Clinton's fault kids are having oral sex...EVERYTHING is Clinton's fault to RWers, he IS their boogeyman.

As for the other half, Clinton's perviness, well...I'd rather have a pervy president who was smart than a celibate president who was stupid. As Chris Rock said, he's not pope clinton. We don't need a spiritual leader, we need a president.
