we need another leak to advance the scandal
....waiting for the next DRIP.

If nothing more is leaked, the media will lose interest and Dems will lost momentum.

1. administrations advance knowledge of 9/11 would be a good place to start

Numerous intelligence agencies around the world gave the Bush administration a more than adequate heads up that this thing was coming with information as specific as time frame and method.

Corporate involvement in public policy is the root of all evil.

2. Rumbles about the aluminum tubes are starting
2 or 3 references today so far about the sentence in the SOTU after the uranium line: aluminum tubes. Several people in print and on tv have already stated that the uranium lie was but the tip of the iceberg. This thing isn't going away .... they smell blood in the water. Even Faux is reporting it now

4. The next real "news" after Wilson's revelations may be confirmation ...
Edited on Sun Jul-13-03 01:48 PM by skeptic9
... of rumors that VP Dick "Big Time" Cheney took the lead in insisting that the uranium disinfo should make it into the SOTU speech.

But wouldn't it be great if it turned out that "energy security" was on the agenda for Cheney's secret task force, and that invasion of Iraq was discussed in secret 2001 Energy Task Force meetings by Cheney, Ken Lay, and Dubya's other big contributors from the oilpatch?

5. Conversely...
Bush will have to stop the leaks to get past this story.

He hasn't been able to do so up until now. Now, he's in a deteriorating position, how can he do it? I'm sure Rand Beers, Bob Graham, etc. have friends who know things.

7. It may have already
AP is now repoting intelligence told Bush there was no link between Iraq and Alqaeda. Just another Bush lie.

8. The media has alread started on the 2nd lie
The Al Qaeda/Iraq connection. Ha ha ha.

9. Rand Beers
Nightline aside, I wish the mainstream press would start focusing more on what Rand Beers has said regarding Iraq and the lack of an Al Qaeda connection.

12. Which Democratic candidate will be first on the air with ...
... these familiar words from 1974--

"The question is, WHAT did the 'President' know, and WHEN did he know it?"
