Randi Rhodes... Tuesday Told a Listener He Should Get Sirius... |
|
maybe I'm grasping for straws but does this mean AAR will not be completely going away from Sirius? I can't imagine Randi would recommend a listener get Sirius if they were not at the very least going to continue to carry her show. I guess she probably has an axe to grind with XM but AAR probably would not be happy with her advising listeners to subscribe to the rival of the "official satellite radio provider of Air America."

1. Maybe Sirius will still carry her show |
|
I don't know, I'm kinda talking out of my ass here but maybe Sirius will carry one or two AAR shows as opposed to the whole line-up anymore. Maybe Randi knows something we don't know

3. Was her show a rerun? Randi is still a part time employee of Clear Channel |
|
I bet she still has considerable rights to her show and may still offer it to Sirus. So it would be nice if they fill the old 144 slot with her show 3-7 and do Thom Hartman before her.

I'm not buying either service until they figure this crap out.
I'll just keep streaming.
Why does everything have to be frigging rocket science?

9. I'm Very Confused As Well.... |
|
their was a post on DU last week saying AAR was going away on Sirius as of this past Monday. I've seen July posted as the drop dead date. I've seen some state that Sirius would still be able to get AAR programming, they would just have to drop AAR as a channel name. I understand that XM has alot more subs tan Sirius. Still, it does not seem to make sense that AAR would want to piss of their Sirius listeners. AAR Sirius listeners are a very loyal base if DU is any indication.
