Face It: "Most" Americans Dislike * And Want Him Gone |
|
Edited on Thu May-05-05 01:35 PM by stopbush
I'm as guilty as the next person of falling into the "Americans are idiots...they voted for * AGAIN" trap. In that, I've bought the media spin.
* is tanking in the polls. His SS "reforms" are going nowhere. The war is a disaster and most Americans believe it wasn't worth it. That's right around the corner from most Americans accepting that the war was illegal to begin with.
But if you watch the media, you keep hearing how * is a "popular" president (or, if you're Tweety, you call him "this VERY popular president"), yet his approval ratings have been under 50% for a long time and are going down. His approval ratings are the worst EVER for a second-term president at this point in his reign of error. And there's the problem: the media has been propping up * for a long time, and they have no plans of stopping any time soon.
I believe that in their guts the majority of Americans are suffering from a big case of * fatigue. I believe that most Americans voted for Kerry in November and the Rs - with the overt help of their media slaves - stole the election. And I believe that * and his media whores are living on borrowed time...and they know it. That's why they're working so feverishly to pass their screw-the-little-guy/abolish our freedoms/institute a theocracy agenda: they know that the country has them figured out and it ain't pretty.
I expect a steady diet of *-created crisis/celebrity pap/Horatio Alger crap to dominate the MSM for the immediate future...until the majority of people tune them out and they become irrelevant.
Just some random thoughts.

The majority of Americans have always disliked Bush. Both elections were rigged, with a complicit media.

7. Just a few days ago, CNN was parading a poll that said... |
|
The majority of Americans think Bush should keep his hands off of Social Security. But, NO that's not good enough for CON NEWS NETWORK (CNN). They immediately showed some damn poll claiming that most Americans think the Democrats are not going to do enough to save Social Security, and the CNN person and the Republican they had on immediately pounced on it. Oh, the negative Bush poll just went bye, bye.
'We The People' are being defrauded, raped, pillaged, and killed by a merger between Corporate America and the United States Government, which would be BushCo. and our Republican Government.
Any Democrat that refuses to vote against anything BushCo. and it's Republican Government ram through, are only complicit with the treason against 'We The People.'
Wouldn't it be so nice to see Bush's "elite base" looted by 'We The People' in a fit of rebellion?

4. Kinda validates questioning the elections |
|
Has bush just recently "lost" his awesome and very large and powerful base or is his support just a flacid teeny tiny erectily disfunctioning bunch of angry old, poorly educated white men who have to hate for a living because they lack the skills to do anything else and just so happen to post at another site? Surely, someone can answer that question.

6. I don't think you're to far off... |
|
I live in a pretty red county in NC and was heartened when a I stopped to get gas and the guy in the booth said "every time I read the paper, I'm starting to think you where right" talking about my Kerry/Edwards sticker... I said something along the lines of to bad there wasn't more of that back in Nov.

8. I envy that you live in an area of the country |
|
that leads you to believe your post.
Where I live, they are a bit disappointed in the Smirkster, but still just looove that 'gawdfearing, Xtian, strong leader' and are all just totally relieved that that 'librul, elitist northeastern godless librul from MA' didn't get elected, because then we would be surrendering to the terraists.
Some days I really really really want to move to a blue state. But then, if everyone did that we would really be lost. Gotta turn those red states blue when the time comes and we have the right candidate

10. Sadly I live in an area like yours |

where the support for * is still quite strong. I agree with you about the importance of remaining in red states and fighting to turn them blue. Never say die!!!
