Many of us obviously are wondering, "What's the story here?" "Why is this worthy of major media exposure and no one is looking into Gannongate."

A 32 year old bride-to-be hops a bus to Vegas and the next thing you know there is an "Amber Alert" for her. I don't think she was gone more than 8 hours before there was a search party out looking for her. I thought an adult had to be missing for 24 hours before anyone could even file a missing person report. I guess the rules are different if you are rich and white and have a big shot lawyer as a future father-in-law.

IMHO she needed some quiet time to think about what she was getting herself into. When she found out about all the commotion back home, she panicked.

An entire CNN film crew waiting at the Airport? Breaking news -- woman gets on plane? Geeesh, gimme a break.

30. This is all too stupid

The last time I checked, it was legal for an adult woman to leave her house, catch a taxi to the bus station and head west, all without telling anyone. Why in the hell does everyone want her in jail for it? Hey, she didn't kill anyone, she didn't cause any huge manhunt for kidnappers, she lied for a couple of hours, and then came clean. Sorry, I see no crime here, and for so many dumbass legal pundits to call for her prosecution is idiotic. It isn't her fault the family overreacted and the cops failed to follow procedure and wait to see if she came back before launching this huge manhunt, not to mention, falsely fingering the fiancee as a killer when nobody even knew if there was a crime at all. People go missing every single day, and this kind of shit doesn't occur because of it.

I've heard enough about this as well. CNN and Faux should all feel stupid for blowing yet another bullshit story out of proportion.
