Wesley Clark
Did anyone else see him on ABC? I watched him and thought he was pretty good but my cable went down right after the segment and could not get in to see if anyone had any comments. He said he will declare if he is a candidate in the next month.

1. ...
I've watched all of the recent Clark appearances except one (on Faux), and I'd say his overall demeanor was a little stiffer than normal, but he did well. In other interviews he's been more relaxed and charismatic, but he is very well spoken every time.

2. I agree with you
he did appear to be a bit more reserved today but managed to point out the fact that the responsiblity of the information in the SOTU belongs to the president.

3. Also that war with Iraq was on their agenda from the day they
stole the White House. Well, he didn't say that they stole the White House. But he has always maintained that this has always been their goal.

4. I loved that!
he seemed to go a step or two further this week in his criticisms of the misadministration. Still polite & civil, but definitely speaking the truth.

5. I hope it is no longer than 30 days before he announces
My guess it will be in plenty of time to get ready to make a bug push on Labor Day weekend.

9. Me too. He's killing me....
Boy, what a sweetheart he is. If he runs, he will win by a landslide.

I can tell you that I believe that black voters will love him and definately be motivated to vote. I believe he will motivate a lot of people who would otherwise stay home to go out and vote.

He did look a little spooked when Steph asked him that oft' asked question. I don't know what to make of that. He is probably a very good poker player. :eyes:

6. He is great!
Tremendous control, sincerity, seriousness, intelligence. He'll take the nomination if he runs, I believe.

He said he would decide in the next couple of months last month on MTP. Today he said he would decide in the next month. He seems to be right on schedule. I hope he runs.

7. The tip of the iceberg
Aside from using that phrase, Clark said something I think it is important to note which points to both his thinking, and which reminds us of a very important concept. He said that if the wmd are found, then you have prove the Iraqis had a delivery system. And even that is not enough; you must document that they intended to use against the US. Only then do you meet the imminent threat criteria for attacking another country. Only then.

The public conversation has sputtered into...who said what and when. The public should be at least slightly concerned that our nation has committed an illegal act.

Did you notice he became very engaged when talking about what the troup stretch is doing to the military? He is very concerned for the families and the morale of the people we have stationed around the world.

I agree this was not the best interview he has done, although the man certainly doesn't lack for facts, however, it seemed as if there was a delay in the audio feed. Did anyone pick up on that?

8. Yep
The delay was a little too long on this one, I noticed that immediately.
