Bomb Kills Eight Iraqi Police in Tikrit

In another attack targeting Iraqi security forces, a homicide car bomb destroyed a police minibus at a checkpoint...

The attack was part of a surge of violence that has killed at least 255 people -- many of them Iraqi soldiers and police -- since Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari announced his new government April 28, with seven Cabinet positions still undecided.

3. Ehhhhhh...sort of. But you need big puddles of blood flowing into the

gutters, and people lying on the ground, some dead and some screaming in agony as they die.

To REALLY get the look of demoncracy right (didya catch that one?) add 2 or 3 US troops lying motionless face-down on the ground, their helmuts rolled slightly away from their bodies, a hand stretched out and palm upturned. Best is when a wedding band can be seen.

The poignancy of the look really brings home how wonderful the spreading of demoncracy is.

Edit: Did I mention a just-orphaned crying child? The finishing touch.

2. It's getting worse, but our government won't tell you this. The same

thing happened in Vietnam. We dropped more bombs on Vietnam than all the bombs in WW2 and still lost. When you invade a country, people fight back. We would do the same thing here.
