North Korea May Test Nuclear Device
By MARI YAMAGUCHI, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 36 minutes ago

TOKYO - Japan has information that North Korea may be preparing for a nuclear test, a Defense Agency official said Friday, less than a week after Pyongyang is believed to have tested a short-range missile off its eastern coast.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, refused to specify the information or its source.

An official at the Foreign Ministry said Japan was exchanging information on North Korea with "concerned countries," but did not confirm that there were signs of an imminent test.

The New York Times on Friday reported that the White House and
Pentagon officials were examining satellite photographs that suggest North Korea is making rapid preparations for a nuclear test. <more>

2. Bush hasn't read his history
Hitler lost when he took on so many fronts, he got overzealous. Every wannabe dictator should have learned that in dictator school, but he was AWOL that day.

3. It doesn't matter, it's still all Clinton's fault
I saw a LTTE the other day that blamed everything wrong in North Korea on Bill Clinton & Jimmy Carter. It's amazing how the RW machine is focused.

5. It's PNAC strategery
Their plan is to subdue the ME and then move on to Asia. But the world is not adhering to their schedule.

8. Yeah
and I bet those handy dandy useful satellites they pull out were useful.
Let's see--they used them in Iraq...check.
They used them to determine how fast the Italian car was going...check.
And now they have seen on satellite images heavy trucks "hauling something" and they are sure they are nuclear weapons.
Scratching head...where have we heard that one before? However, I digress.
But truly just an offbeat question...we have big trucks transporting illegal substances daily through our country--why don't the satellites pick that up?

9. Even if they are lying we still need to ask HOW Bush could let this happen
Bush dropped the ball either way. He's incompetent.
