OK, I wasn't going to toot my own horn here, but I think some people here need a swift kick in the pants. ANDY IS GOING TO DIE WITHOUT THIS SURGERY. Are you willing to let another fellow DUer die because you are too cheap to send in $10? $5? I personally have sent Andy $700 in the past 10 days. $700 that I really couldn't afford to give.

If I can do that, you all can donate a measly $10, unless you are unemployed or in dire financial straits because of your own medical problems. Those two exceptions are the minority on DU. Everyone else, YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE!

Take your lunch into work all this week, and give the proceeds to Andy.

Don't stop at the donut shop this week, and give the proceeds to Andy.

Quit smoking, and give the proceeds to Andy.

...I would love to donate on behalf of Sapph and myself, but I honestly just got terminated from my job, because the company I work for lost the contract we were doing security work for.

As of right now, I have to horde every bit of spare cash I can, because times will be tough once I end this job.

Believe me, I feel very bad about it, and have looked around the house for anything to sell tat would fetch a fair price that I could donate to Andy's cause. I just don't have anything worth anything.

But I'm unemployed, no insurance, and what is left of my bank account goes to the dentist to fix a tooth that broke off exposing the tooth's interior partially, a hole in another, and 2 started to decay.
