How do I contact a real person at Blogspot? |
|
I have been trying for months to get a blog set up there but keep having problems. It won't take any of the urls I've tried to register, even though no one else is using them. I've sent messages asking for help, but no one ever answers.
Is anybody home at Blogspot? If so, please pm me.
Thanks!

1. You can make your own with a CMS. |
|
That's a Content Management System. http://www.opensourcecms.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 I did this for my own site and it works great. (For the record, I use Drupal.)

2. Does it work for the technically challenged? |
|
I'm a writer, not a tekkie.

3. I admit it takes work, but it's worth it. |

I don't know CSS, php, MySQL or Apachie... all I know is some HTML and I was able to get it to work the way you see it now.
I like Drupal because: 1) Google likes Drupal because it uses a taxonomy. 2) It may not have a lot of "bling" but the admin features are very intuitive. 3) Drupal is solid as a rock from a software perspective. Even with my limited understanding of programing, I was able to follow the code documentation. 4) The Drupal.org community is friendly.
The hardest part of Drupal is understanding taxonomy. But once you "get it" it's not that bad.
