Who would LOVE to have George Bush testify under oath?
Would that be a dream scenario? Especially, if he didn't have Al Gonzales whispering in his ear. Man, I'd love to see the video tape on that one! The poor bastard would look like a deer caught in the headlights!

Of course, it'll never happen. Rove's too smart to let his boy get into that situation. More's the pity, though. Sigh.

1. I will never forget...
....that HORRIBLE day when Bill Clinton spoke to the people after being forced to be questioned by Starr's henchmen. I will never, never forget the look on his face. Such awful humiliation and buried rage. How he endured that time, with such grace, I'll never know.

My fervent hope is that George W. Bush, whose crimes are infinitely more self-serving and harmful to democracy, will experience the same kind of humiliation and shame.

2. BC appointed a special prosecutor because he knew the
allegations were groundless. Of course, even he was surprised to see Starr be so disgustingly partisan and entrap him on a question that had no business being asked.

But, do you think Bush will call for a special prosecuter to clear him on these charges? Forget it, never happen. Even with a Republican controlled Congress he cannot risk having to go under oath to explain any of his actions.

Republican Party, a bunch of immoral hyprocites.

3. Wonderful. But I would settle for a real news conference.
I wonder what Bush is like under fire. He gets a lot more testy than his old man. Remember 41 looking at his watch in the debate with Clinton? Remember "Annoy the media. Vote Bush?" Testy, smart-alecky...

4. Nope
I would prefer to see him have to invoke his 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination. :-)

5. under oath will not work on this prick
do you think for a minute that the prick won't lie even if he's under oath? this guy has lied on just about everything there is possible to lie about on every occasion. think back to every one of his arguments.

1) aluminum tubes
2) al-qaida connections
3) wmds
4) niger uranium
5) mobile trucks of "death"
6) tax cuts to help america
7) reasons for aircraft carrier landing
8) insider transactions when he was ceo of oil company

these are just a few that immediately comes to mind. this guy has absolutely no moral integrity of any sought when it comes to the truth.

what this government needs is a similar type of forum that england has in its parliament where the prick gets grilled live by congressional constituents without any attorneys present. that's what this government needs today. that's a real "check and balance" system on its leader's actions in england.
