I'm not sure how many people in this country realize how far down the road we are toward another inquisition.

This administration (along with many of its brain-dead followers) believe that they're using the Christian wingnuts. But what they don't grasp, is that they're being used in much the same manner.

If these (combined) forces manage to silence all the rest of us, it will be an even money bet as to which of them finally ends up in power.

Either way, we will either be a fascist dictatorship, or a theological one.

I, for one, don't want any part of either. Unfortunately, too many people in this country are totally unaware of the war (for absolute power) that is currently taking place. And by the time they "get it," the rest of us will be screwed for the rest of our lives.

Christians, who are going after and getting more play in the media. I think they'll provide some balance for the extremists, and make middle American religious people pull back from the precipice. After all, the fundies still number only about 20-22%...
