24. You say "ignorance" is our common enemy. "Terrorism" is the enemy,....
,...according to those who are oppressing humanity for purposes of consolidating/concentrating their power.

Where do you stand? Are you FOR empowering the powerful or AGAINST oppression?

Do you give a shit about your fellow human being or are you,...about you and only you?

28. Why would you ask me to do that, you, fascist-fighter, you?

Do you fight fascists for yourself or to protect someone like me?

"Ignorance" is a word,...not a thing that threatens you. "Fascism" is a word,...not a thing that threatens you.

Who is your enemy?

*if you are concerned that "Just Me" is your enemy,...we have a problem*

2. Corporate fascists.
Those in power determine if the society they run is a free one. Or a fascist one.

Look at the laws and their actions. We sure aren't free.

10. Whose apathy and self-indulgence are you talking about?
What I witness, all around me, are people SURVIVING the best they can under the circumstances.

IF you are referencing those who actually HOLD the power over the rest of us to make a difference as apathetic and self-indulgent,...we may agree.

13. Actually, I am speaking of 1/2 of the population
the ones who support this regime.
They don't care what happens to this country as long as they have what they need.
Their arrogance shows through when they drive their SUV's and could care less that other people's children are dying become of their glutony.

14. Hatred? The only ones asserting "hatred" are those who hate freedom.
True?

Our enemy is anyone who advantages him/her self from our situation in this life.

More along the lines of Hatred of, say, Muslims, Gays, Political Parties, etc etc. The broad grouping and dislike of a particular group based on beliefs, race, etc. Conservative vs Liberal, Jew vs. Arab, whatever.

12. The radical right!
This includes the religious right and the cheap labor conservatives who have sold their souls to the religious right. The radical right probably represents a relatively small portion of Americans, but the Republicans have allowed them to take over their party. If everybody who was not a member of the radical right banded together against them, they would be vastly outnumbered and wouldn't stand a chance!

The nuclear option is a good lithmus test to determine who is a member of the radical right. Anybody who supports Frist's plans is a member of the radical right. It looks like we will find out who are worst enemies truly are very shortly.

21. There are those who had a "dream", planted it,...and it grew.
Of course, we are not talking about some "American Dream" marketed by the corporacrats who profitted by that.

We are talking about the human RIGHT to have a chance,...per the creation of this nation. BUT, once again, the evil assholes are advantaging themselves,...are, frankly, a freakin' disease on this earth and to humanity.

,...with the responsibility of the predator, the criminal, the abuser.

Every abusive, fucked up thing these abusive assholes do is all our fault because we allowed them (by CROOK and DEVIANCE and FRAUD) to get where they are,...

Hence, WE DESERVE TO BE PUNISHED,...THE ABUSIVE ASSHOLES DESERVE TO GET AWAY WITH THEIR CRIMES.

Yep. I get it.

They are not going to abuse me,...but, apparently, the neocon theocrats are still going to screw you,...'cause you refuse to face the fact that they are "enemies".

But, hey, whatever,...please continue being distracted. I'm seriously losing interest.

32. Whoever Is The Ruling Class Is Our Enemy
Edited on Fri May-13-05 10:46 PM by Itsthetruth
is our common enemy and now we can argue about who is actually in that "ruling class" and how they actually run this nation.

I know that I'm not! And I'm pretty sure you won't find any working class people among those who decide economic and political policies. We don't have any meaningful economic power and have absolutely no voice in the government.

Unless the United States has achieved a "classless" society I would say there must be a ruling class. Now who do we think constitutes that class? Just follow the money and you will discover who actually rules America!
