11. You know when you know it is a dictatorship?

When you post in a public forum that it is a dictatorship, and for that they fire you, kick your kids out of school, put you on a black list so that you cannot find work anywhere, and imprison you either on trumped up charges or just for "anti-establishmentarism". Oh and if it happens enough, the public forum gets shut down as well.

You know it is a dictatorship when there are no elections, and if there are, they are a farce, nobody from the party that you support has a chance of getting elected, the candidates disappear in the night, or get jailed. Whenever you try to campaign for your anti-establishment candidate you get beat up, your posters get ripped to thread, and you get hauled to jail.

You know it is a dictatorship when your kid tells a political joke in school and you get called in and told in no uncertain terms that next time he will be kicked out and it will be reported to your workplace (who will then either fire or demote you).

You know it is a dictatorship when, if you're a dissident, you have a packed bag prepared at home so when they come to take you away, you will have some warm clothes and a bit of food to take with you.

You guys who think that US is now a dictatorship really don't know what a dictatorship is, do you?

one-party rule, no minority voice, rigged elections, no checks & balances, the ruling party operating with no consequences for their lawless actions, and the media being just an arm of the ruling party. This pretty much defines fascism, IMO.

...December 2000. The "terrorist attacks" on 911 were used to consolidate that power and force us into two curent wars in the Middle East with more wars coming.

Amerika is an Oligarchy. I have posted that many times and have never been challenged. Is that because my statement has been ignored, agreed with or not agreed with?

Fascism can be a Corportist state without the trappings of a Police State.
