Bush on his bike

I don't know if anyone else caught this and found it incredibly funny, but in reading an artical on the plane scare over DC I came across this gem.

"First lady Laura Bush and former first lady Nancy Reagan, who was visiting, were ushered to a bunker beneath the White House for safety, and Vice President Cheney was taken to a secure location, officials said. THE PRESIDENT, who was riding his bicycle at the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in suburban Maryland, was alerted by his security detail after the drama was over."

2. Maybe Rove gave orders not to tell Buxh anything until they alert

Cheney and Karl first.

I think Buxh carries the launch codes, even when biking.

They should just have an SS agent carry a Fisher-Price "See & Say" and let him think that's the "football".
