DU Poll - Am I wasting my time?

Good morning everyone!

I've been posting the BookTV Schedule for a few weeks now, and like the CSPAN Schedule threads, I never get many replies.

I'm a knowledge junkie, so I'm watching it all the time anyway, and I enjoy posting the thread, but it does take time. Cutting and pasting and Googling is hard work!

1. It's kind of like TIA's posts...

not too many people comment, but I imagine many (like myself) bookmark the numbers.

I do occasionally review the Cspan schedule you post, my apologies for not having the simple courtesy to say 'thanks', but I'll remember from now on.

I'm not usually discourteous, so I kinda' feel like a bum.

8. Absolutely keep it up. This and other information post don't get many

replies, but people use the information - and that is what counts.

I know I have gotten numerous "heads up" that I run set my TV to turn to the channel mentioned.

Unfortunately, I don't always say thanks you to the person who went to the trouble and effort to post something that helps us all.

Thank you for taking the time to post all of the info, I just responded to the thread you posted for this weekend before reading this. I've been away from DU for the past few weekends but I do appreciate all of the time you have spent posting the schedule and descriptions of guests.

11. heck, I'd love to see the schedule, where is it posted?

Sometimes I feel like I'm here all the time yet I'm obviously missing tons of great stuff, like the Book TV schedule.

I watch a lot of TV on the weekend while playing with fire (I make glass stuff) and there is never anything good on. I'd love to be reminded of the book schedule.

Like you, I'm a "knowledge junkie" and love BookTv and c-span. Since I spend a lot of time at DU, it's very convenient to have the schedule posted here and I always look for it.

Sowhile I always read the c-span and booktv posts, I don't generally have anything to add to the posts so I don't post a reply.

I understand that it's impossible to know if anyone cares or appreciates what you post if people don't reply. I hope you get enough responses here that you'll find it worth your time and effort to continue to post the schedule.

I love BookTV. I wish they had a universal schedule but apparently they don't.

24. I'm a CSPAN junkie...

Without CSPAN, FSTV, The Daily Show and Bill Maher I would be nearly clueless. Without those and DU I'd be completely clueless!
