spend it on." Heard on 'Ring of Fire' today. Let's help them spend it. First I think they ought to pay off all our loans that are paying for the Iraqi war that they are so benefitting from. They should fund a national health care plan for all Americans because they are responsible for a lot of the pollution in the last century that many people are now paying for in poor health.

How would you spend the money?

2. They could start paying their share of taxes
...Or would that mean "the terrorist win"?

Last year the Saudi government told us that high pump prices aren't their fault, with a nod toward the refiners and distributors.

With record gasoline prices and record profits spiraling in the same fiscal quarter, it doesn't take a math wizard to see what's going on.

3. Pour it in infrastructure
They should use the money to fund the massive restructuring of our infrastructure we are going to have to do once we hit peak oil. As oil prices rise, people are going to be more open to using public transportation and we'll need to scale out our public transit systems.
