UK film: terror fears exaggerated

CANNES, France (Reuters) -- A British documentary arguing U.S. neo-conservatives have exaggerated the terror threat is set to rock the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, the way "Fahrenheit 9/11" stirred emotions here a year ago.

"The Power of Nightmares" re-injected politics into the festival that seemed eager to steer clear of controversy this year after American Michael Moore won top honors in 2004 for his film deriding President George W. Bush's response to terror.

1. That's a really good documentary
I definietly recommend it to people. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info and http://www.propogandamatrix.com have it and other great documentaries you should see. I also recommend "Hijacking Castrophe" and "The Liberal Media Myth." It shows how the rightwing is great at making things out to be what they aren't.

2. Interesting

that it's showing at Cannes. I've seen it a few times. It was on CBC in Canada just a couple weeks ago. Should stir up some thoughts.

I also recommend it thoroughly. You can find it on many bit torrent sites, and the creator said it was OK to download because he wants to get the word out and get as many people seeing it as possible.

3. Add another documentary to the list
I recommend people see 'Death of Suburbia', another groundbreaking political documentary.

4. I've seen that as well
It played at a local theater here. All these docs really make you think.
