The CEO is guaranteed $4.5 million/yr in retirement.
Huge ripple in the economy.
Earlier caller spoke of outsourcing the military: opening lots of new bases overseas while closing them here.

10. After UAL, it's gonna be the auto industry and the CTA |
|
CTA has been using pension funds for operating expenses. CTA is now blaming the pension funds for its red ink. But the owner of the red ink is the pension funds. CTA is likely to do a UAL.

Too bad it comes on in THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!
He's a very good speaker and host. He brings the points face up, no questions left. I like this very much. He asks the questions we all have. What has happened to this country?
I have a United Airlines ticket for a trip next month. I wonder what the most effective way to honor the workers would be to deal with this? Don't go and don't tell them? :wtf:
I have noted that about 2 days ago this particular ticket had quadrupled in price.
We need another Theodore Roosevelt right now!
I hope more UA workers call in!
