"He's our president - Must suppport" and "Global Warmimg - Fake"
Two minutes into my conversation with this guy at a wedding yesterday, i had heard these comments. It was a long reception - I will get back at the wedding planner's seating arrangements. I was outnumbered by fundy RW fristians 7 to 1.

children/grandchildren.

Did you ask them if they said the same thing about Clinton?

3. Ask the Global warming folks
1) Why Bush thought it was a legitimate problem when he was campaigning in 2000, only to change his mind upon taking office; and

2) Just how many PPM of CO2 they'd like to see. Pre-industrial revolution it was 280ppm; we're up to around 390, and projections show we'll be at 500 by mid-century.

Would they like it higher than that?

4. Paid off global warming skeptics
Edited on Mon May-16-05 07:46 AM by DrRang
The May/June issue of Mother Jones has a neat chart showing how many of the outfits denying global warming are funded by ExxonMobile. Called "There's a Tiger in Your Think Tank."

On edit--sorry, can't get the link to work, and can't figure out what's wrong.

5. Follow the leader
And there is no global warming! The temperature today is below average, so there can't be any global warming...

As we teach the kids on Sunday School:

(Please note the last line: As an option, you can also write the name of each child under one of the fishes)

6. If supporting the president is mandatory, why do they have to be re-elected
Or, for that matter, why aren't the appointed for life?

And why are there laws in place to allow for impeachment?

Obviously, the Founding Fathers knew that there could come a time when we'd have to REMOVE a president!

And where were all these "we have to support our president, especially in time of war" when Clinton was getting impeached during the war in the Balkans while he was trying to kill Osama Bin Laden?

No war for Monica!

No war for Monica!

Wag The Dog! Wag The dog!

No war for Monica!

No war for Monica!

Fuck them.
