1. I'd love to see it...President Dean... |
|
This would change the course of policics. His people powered campaign versus - corporate powered *Bush.
I hear the Rocky Theme song just thinkin' bout it!

5. If Your Primary is Close... |

Please consider voting for Dean. There's a real battle between the losing strategy of establishment Democrats ("support Bush") and real Democrats, who believe that true Democratic policies, well articulated, can win. (Otherwise why bother winning?)
On edit: I'll also add that Dean (Trippi) really sent a huge bucket of love flowers to Dennis and his supporters with his letter responding to John Kerry's campaign manager, if you noticed. And his campaign is the most democratic (small d) as well, with tons of grassroots involvement and feedback. That's exactly like DK's campaign, and both contrast markedly with the "top down" campaigns run by establishment Democrats.
On double edit: Even if it isn't close, I'd still urge the same advice, because of the risk that the Democratic establishment will take a narrow victory and turn it into a narrow defeat. Someone who isn't part of the club needs as big a winning margin possible.

not for the reasons you stated. Running against Ruth Dwyer in Vt and running agaist GB and Rove are in different leagues entirely.

6. There was national figures here trying to help |
|
Such as Pat Buchanan. My point is this...the 2000 race for Dean was far, far uglier than anything Rove and Bush will try. Dean has proven himself to be able to take the heat and come out on top. Who else running has even come close to overcoming such nastiness?

4. Dean has something most of the other candidates lack... |
|
Charisma. You can't overstate the importance of that. Plus, men like Dean, which would help greatly with the classic gender gap seen with most Dem. candidates. Dean's not a wimp, and men truly respond to that. That's what a good chunk of the electorate is looking for, sadly. The issues are really not that important to them. But, I think Dean has a good mix of stands on the issues, as well.
I don't know about Clark -- I haven't seen him speak enough.
