Guess who's running Frist's "nuclear options" war room....
Manny Manuel, the thief who was fired by Orin Hatch for stealing Democratic memos from Senate servers is now leading the Nuclear Option fight on behalf of Frist. In a recent email to Frist allies, he wrote:

1. Didn't he quit Sen. Martinez's office because he wrote the Schiavo Talking
Edited on Wed May-18-05 08:45 PM by Pirate Smile
Points memo?

He is a scumbag.

edit to add - Hopefully, he will be as successful with this as he was with the Schiavo fiasco. He is obviously in-line with the wacko RW but a bit tone deaf with the other 75% of the country.

16. He can resign and then get hired by Frist. That seems to be what they
always do.

2. Sure he got fired for hacking into the dems computers ....
..... what a joke. they just gave him a different job. And the democrats
whose computers were hacked did not say a damn thing. All the democratic
Senators should have walked out winter '04 after that action but no .....
....must play nice. These are elections stealing power hungry nazis.

God Damn them I wish they would grow some balls a la Galloway.

3. Neocons often promote people
Edited on Wed May-18-05 08:59 PM by necso
who do unscrupulous, indecent or illegal things (on the neocons' behalf), even if they get "fired" for it. The neocons hide these "disgraced" flunkies in some backroom for a time -- then when (if) things have quieted down enough, (may) move them into more visible positions.

Stealing and lying (treachery, etc, etc) are highly prized skills among the neocons... and real resume builders.

6. I'm trying to remember now...
It was either Schumer or Durbin who mentioned in passing today the hacking of the judiciary computers - but immediately dropped it. That would have been the perfect opportunity to tie that crime into Frist's knuckle-dragging little new hire. Maybe they figure they have bigger fish to fry.

11. bigger fish to fry.
Dems ignore little fish at our peril. It seems that Dems don't know how to conduct a war. Amerika is in a Civil War right now and Dems are losing it.

14. From krill
to whale sharks, the Dems need to start attacking each and every repug outrage like starving ocean predators, no matter the size or relevance. Democrats are clownfish.

18. I didn't know there was a National Coalition to End Judicial Filibusters.
This is not about anything except the power grab. We can't compromise. We must make them drop the bomb. It will backfire with americans. It already is backfiring.

Let loose the dogs. Bring it on. Give sick people exactly what they ask for. Let them show the country their true colors.

Just do it.
