Hey conservative "journalists" you better watch the hell out.
In your frothy, spittle-soaked quest to gleefully kill news media organizations, you are turning the gun on yourselves.

Witness conservative columnists who rely on being printed in large major dailies as their bread and butter.

Witness the 58% decline in viewership of FUX news since October of 2004.

What a stupid, stupid thing to do. I just read a column from a local neocon "columnist" (a shitty writer and doesn't even deserve to have his name mentioned) in which he practically experienced an orgasm over the Newsweek story. I half-expected his sentences to dissolve into moans and groans by the end of the column.

Meanwhile he depends on The Dallas Morning News to carry his column. Yep, he's a ONE paper man. And the AM radio station he blathers on in the afternoons is losing listeners.

So he better hope no one of his ilk decides to go after the DMN after some story that they think they can attack the paper on.

What neocon repukey "journalists" don't realize is they are not going to be able to make the media a 100% tool for their party. Oh they've been trying, and hard, but they are never going to be able to accomplish it on the scale they want to (mark my words) and so they will end up going down with whatever newspaper, magazine, TV or radio show they've hitched their little wagon to when some OTHER repukey outfit decides they don't much like it.

Idiots.

1. Been my point with
the ConNewsNetwork too. Not only is their lack of reporting the truth immoral it's just plain old bad business. They aren't going to win over Faux viewers (what's left of those!) and they will lose the audience that they have left. As far as the newspapers it's the liberals who read!

2. Here's something else they might consider: Lockstep commentary
on issues as per Rove's instruction is gonna depopulate their ranks fast. In these times of corporations cutting costs and all MSM being owned by corporations, how long before all but one voice gets the ax?

Why would the corporations continue to pay for a slew of talking and typing heads if only one view point is getting aired/published? Gee, lockstep is cool for the neocons, but paying a crowd of pundits to all repeat the same mantra is NOT cost effective. At some point, the corporate mother ships will do something about that.

3. Exactly
and they better hope they have a fall-back career option.

Writing right-wing books will NOT be an option; we all see how poorly they sell now (reich wingers, as a whole, aren't that much into reading).

So maybe they could go work at McDonald's or something.

6. Their "game of greed" is certainly catching up with them.
Honor and integrity and honesty and respect can NOT be squashed by stingy or self-serving or self-centered pursuits.

Humanity did NOT get to this point without common values which certainly precluded GREED!!!!

7. Well, Fox News Channel took on $4.5Billion in debt
along with the other Fox properties to help Murdoch buy Hughes Satellite.

Ruphert needs a good return for debt service.
