I was just interested in browsing the bowels of rightwing blogs, since everyone now agrees that we waged the war for freedoms sake, and see how they acted during the run up to invasion.
This gem is from Little Green Footballs.
Chemical Weapons Plant in An Najaf
Legacy media is finally beginning to pick up on the chemical weapons plant story we broke this morning. FOXNews.com has a banner at the top of their page, and ABC News is reporting it on the radio.
You saw it here first. (Unless you saw it at JPost first—and Caroline Glick deserves the majority of the credit anyway, for putting her butt on the line as an “embedded journalist.” Major LGF kudos to Caroline.)
UPDATE: Here’s the release: the Pentagon confirms it.
A senior pentagon official has confirmed to FoxNews on Sunday that coalition forces have discovered a "huge" chemical weapons factory near the Iraqi city of An Najaf, which is situated some 225 miles south of Baghdad.
Coalition troops are also said to be holding the general in charge of the facility.
UPDATE: LGF reader Michael points out that the UN “inspectors” have already visited An Najah in January—and drove right past the hundred-acre, camouflaged chemical weapons plant surrounded by an electrified fence.

Now that the mainstream media is starting to pick this up we can expect howls of protest from the anti-American idiots:
It's only a fertilizer factory!!!
It's a plant by the Capitalist War Machine!!!
This is just the first of many "interesting discoveries" we'll see in the coming weeks.
The sad thing is, they probably still believe it.
