Only 35% think it's on the right one.

51% disapprove of Bush's handling of the economy.
43% approve.

52% disapprove of Bush's foreign policy.
42% approve.

52% disapprove of the job Bush is doing handling the situation in Iraq.
44% approve.

51% disapprove of the job Congress is doing.
33% approve.

47% would prefer to have Congress controlled by Democrats as the result of the '06 elections.
40% would prefer Republicans.

56% think the Senate should make its own decision about the fitness of judicial nominations.
34% think they should confirm the President's nominees.

1. wrong track?
this country ran off the rails about five years ago. The train burst into flames and the survivors are living in the mountains scavanging badger carcasses...

With a drunk at the controls, could there be any other outcome?

2. Do you honestly think the numbers are much better for Dems?
I'm not talking about rolling back to the Clinton years -- I'm talking about if JK were in the WH, if the numbers would be that drastically different.

I don't think they would, because politicians from BOTH parties have conspired over the years in ignoring many problems that are now getting to the point that they will seriously bite us in the ass before we even begin to address them.
