Was it possible Nader was paid off by Dems to deflect attention...
... from their own problems in order to rally the Democratic base in spite of Democratic pols' support of aggressive war, imperialism, credit loan-sharks, and so on?

2. It must be. I'm just trying to do my part...
... to further debase the conversation.

8. Nuthin better than a good conversation debasement!
I think Nader is a putz, but am pretty fed up with all the Democratic finger pointing in his direction. Is it his fault we didn't take back either the House or Senate in '02?

3. I don't think so
Nader can do that on his own.

4. Maybe ...
Nader's that big of a douche bag to do something like that for those evil Dems.

5. Nader says that he wanted a ad hoc alliance with Kerry
during the election. The two of them would attack Bush and keep it civil between each other. Nader would lead the charge against such things as the war, credit loan sharks, etc. Things that Kerry's camp might not do easily or be uncomfortable while Kerry attacked on the economy etc. Between the two they would destroy Bush, Kerry would get elected and Nader would still represent those that voted for him. He says that he was told either to get out of the election or suffer the consequences. This is coming from Nader himself and I can't vouch for its veracity but with the amount of money we spent foolishly on trying to keep him off the ballot it may be true.

6. it is known Nader got GOP funds
I don't understand your question.

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

7. Doubtful. Nader is a very rich man.
His ego is all he cares about.

11. Yep
He took money from republicans in 2000 and also last year the republicans fought to get him on the ballot. Not because they care about him but because he would take votes away from John Kerry. And to the person who said Nader took money from Rove you're more then likely right on the money. Check this out!!

Snip: <According to Federal Election Committee records, five major donors who have given $13,500 to Swift Boat Veterans for Truth to air its attack ads on John Kerry’s military service have also given Nader $7,500.Specifically, Travis Anderson (NJ), Brian Pilcher (CA) and Donald Burns (FL), are three of Nader’s largest donors and each has given him $2,000 (the maximum allowable contribution), while also contributing to Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Charles Eckert (CA) and Oliver Grace (NY) have also given to both Nader’s PAC and the swift boat PAC.Nader has condemned the ads run by this PAC, saying, “It's pretty deplorable that Bush through his proxies is doing this smear,” Nader said. (8/27/2004, A.P., in speech at Tulane University). If Nader wishes to have any credibility left with progressives, he must give back all right wing money and finally acknowledge that his campaign is being used by the Bush/Cheney re-election team.”>

10. the irrational behavior of many Dem's might lead you to believe that
but i say it is a prime example of how ignorant most of us our to what really goes on in our capital.

of course they are certainly framing it that way since Ralph has come out to challenge them, as they should be.

how do we expect anything to change if we don't challenge them?

when Ralph saw he was being locked out even by his own party he realized he had only one course of action to take to get OUR MSG out there, take them on as an independent.

The reaction is very similar to the reaction to Mr. Galloway speech by some. He called out our corrupt gov. which both sides of the aisle are responsible for and clearly demonstrated how it should be done which in contrast to our pitiful opposition SHAMED them and so many got very defensive and their only way to address the charges was to attack him personally to try and deflect their responsibility which has become a dangerous and depressing consistency.

I will say though that i admire their current unified - in the senate anyways - stance against the reTHUGlicans uncompromising, dictatorial stance on judges and make no mistake about it this is all a prelude to the extremist they got lined up for the SUPREME COURT.

it is our duty as American citizens and patriots to challenge ALL who continue to allow the status quo to continue.

down with the THIRD-WAY, PEOPLE OVER PROFIT.

we are ALL conservatives when it comes to PRESERVING our REPUBLIC.

:hi:
