Poll question: Is Nader like a smack-addict neglectful parent?
I posted this in another thread, but I wanted to see how many peole agreed with me. If a parent is a smack addict shooting up heroin and neglects their child while they are off in a drug haze, you would think they were being neglectful. But I think Nader is basically the same thing, because he neglects the people and their needs while he is escaping from reality in a fantasy world with his presidential runs. That's actually even worse than a neglectful parent, because many more people get hurt, and it's not only us in this country.

3. He's the debbil, we should burn him at the stake for telling the truth!
How dare he not toe the party line? How dare he challenge the one party system of the capitalists?

I'm not a big fan of Ralph's, but these childish attacks on him are getting beyond stupid.

people on this board really need to address the shortcomings of their party leaders rather than seeking out a scapegoat.

17. Is that a rhino from one of the /Rhinoceros Success/ books?
Edited on Fri May-20-05 03:52 PM by LoZoccolo
Although I disagree with the extent of his political leanings, I admit to actually being drawn to and enjoying some of the motivational stuff in Scott Alexander's books, and also admit to owning all three!

The cow/rhino distinction is one I find compelling when thinking about DU. I find there are people who complain a lot, and people who do a lot.
