http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000929374"Saddam Hussein is a genocidal maniac who tortured, gassed and killed tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis. The photographs published today by the New York Post show the U.S. military is treating him with a regard he never showed his own people." :patriot:

I thought it was "hundreds of thousands" and the occassional "million."

4. Yeah, well, when you never have to provide proof, what's the difference? |
|
One week you can say thousands, next week millions, next week genocide and no one ever calls you on it.

as he is a POW, under the protection of the Conventions of War... I am sure a low level private will pay for this, as this IS the standard MO for these bastards...
Oh watch out when photos of our own people are leaked in present or future conflicts for the baying wolves

5. Then to be fair: tomorrow they need to run a picture of Rummy in undies. |
|
Then put them both on trial as co-conspirators.

7. Almost identical to the justification its sister paper The Sun had |
|
when asked by the BBC - though they also threw in the claim that the pictures were "iconic" and that people would still be using them in 100 years. I shit you not. They claimed that any news organisation would have run them if they had them; when the BBC interviewer said "you want to make lots of money from syndication rights, don't you?" they said "well, the BBC sells its programmes abroad, doesn't it?" And the spokesman managed this without laughing once. He's a skilled man, obviously.

(Murdoch types here don't know what that word means.)
Iconic! The Abu Ghraib pix are iconic. This one is just moronic.
