Now I may be a little too tolerant, but it pisses me off that the top news
story in Boston right now is a guy who was convicted of a sex crime 20 years ago was arrested at a carnival for not registering with the town he was working in on a temporary basis.

Now, I may be too tolerant, but from what I've heard he hasn't been accused of any wrong behavior in 2 decades, yet they run a background check on all the carnival workers and bust this guy for not registering when he go to town.

Did he break the law by not registering? Yup. Did he pose any risk to the public? Probably not. Is it worthy of being the top news story? Hell no.

I think it's ridiculous that they're making this big a deal out of someone who was convicted and served his time 20 years ago.

1. I think there is more important things going on in the world
that the media should be covering, and they know it.

2. oh ET
I haven't even been capable of watching the local news for a very, very, very long time. It's just mostly all petty and useless.

Put on some tunes okay. . .? Relax. . .

and have a nice night. . . damn it !!!

3. sounds like the zero tolerance doctrine
used in most schools these days. I'd be on the local news outlets about the prominent coverage. The potential for harm to the community was minimal and didn't justify a high profile response.

The problem with news reporting in America? They forgot to include the news.

4. Yes, that absolutely sux
Someone either has, or has not paid their debt to society. If they haven't, then why tell them they are "free"?

Peace.
