3. Wow, these goofs are sick. |

My very good friends of 20+ years are Muslim, and the wife is my daughter's doctor.
They are somewhat conservative, and I believe voted for Rethuglicans in the past. We don't discuss politics, however. They just don't want to. Or even some issues - like of this nature.
I wonder if they know what their fellow conservatives are thinking.

I know a lot of Muslims and though many voted for Bush in '00, there was a complete reversal in '04. Don't be afraid to bring up politics with them -- I'm certain they don't hold a high opinion of George W. Palpatine.

to talk about politics I can give you some insight on some of the beliefs of our community. Many are socially and fiscally conservative. Being religous people they are usually against abortion and gay marriage, and many are wealthy which is why their fiscal conservatives. Prior to 2004, the votes of our community were pretty evenly split, but after the racial profiling and the Patriot Act, except for a few almost all have fled to the Democratic party as Kerry got 90% of our vote.

10. Thanks. I think that it the way it is. |

L (the wife, doctor, and my friend) is very cheerful - just doesn't talk politics. The thing is she knows I'm her quirky, born-in-SoCal, still-livin'-in-the-70's friend who is pro-gay-rights, pro-human-rights, pro-peace. She just giggles about it. I have this feeling this past time she voted for Kerry.

other than the Left Behind series, written at the second grade level. Only freepers would consider a book about guys in beany propeller hats being sucked up to heaven by a giant Hoover vacumn cleaner diety, as "theology".
