Lindsey Graham just said one of the eight judicial nominees would lose
in a bipartisan up and down vote but he wouldn't say which one.

He is on CNN's Late Edition with WB.

Which judge do you think it is?

I thought it was 7 left from the original 10 so I'm not sure why he said 8.

3. Probably
They need that one woman (Jancie Brown I think is her name?). She rules in the favors of those who work with Bush (like Enron for example). So she will be needed for the neocons.

5. I get the feeling that this is all part of a Repug plan....
Edited on Sun May-22-05 12:13 PM by Gloria
I mean, the Repugs vote against one of this crew, the one they need the least for now, and they come out looking "rational" and "fair" and not "monolithic." And then they proceed to screw us from now on.

The Dems look like they lose again, of course, in the long run....Oh, look, they made a stink over nothing, the Repugs can vote "independently"...see, the Dems are just whiners.

My other reaction was...Ben Nelson (D-Not). I mean, Mr. Republican lite up there speaking instead of one of our stronger Democrats.

UGH
