St. Pete Times Cover: "War Weary Families 'Get my son home'"
And below the cover picture of the parents of Josh, who's in Iraq, is this quote, "You just don't want to think you're being led down the garden path by the president and Colin Powell.....I think I'm tired of being lied to," Mrs. Withers says.

1. This is amazing.
It's all over the press.

Now everyone knows BushCo lied. If only they'd listened.

2. It's the disrespect for military families
They could have gotten away with the lies if it wasn't for the disrespect they've shown toward military families.

The SPTimes is considered a great (and liberal) paper down here in the home of MacDill AFB/Central Command.

3. Exactly! "If only they had listened"...
We tried so hard! It's surreal what I feel now about all of this finally coming out after so many of our kids have died over there with their blood on bush's hands.

5. It's amazing that this is the cover story here in Patriotsville.
I'm visiting family a little north of St. Pete and not used to seeing the number and size of flags all over the place. A guy down the street actually has an enormous American flag in the front yard that lights up at night.

6. St. Pete has a lot of rednecks
...but it is still a diverse interesting community with a lot to offer. The St. Pete Times is one of the best newspapers in the country.
