I am a Unitarian Universalist, meaning I partake quite a bit in Jewish, Buddhist, Islam, and yes, even Christian traditions. I very much value the teachings of Jesus, whereas the average "Fristian" as you call 'em (and I like that label, incidentally!!) cares not about the terachings of Jesus...or if they DO care, you sure couldn't tell it by their ACTIONS.

I am most definitely a feminist. Why should the absence or presence of a specific appendage make someone more or less capable of doing just about any job in the world? Why do many equate the presence of that appendage with extra intellect? And why are those with the appendage treated more respectfully than those without? Having lived portions of my life both WITH...and WITHOUT the appendage, I can unequivocally state the veracity of this claim...it is NOT in women's heads. Why does extra privilege seem to be attached to having that specific appendage?

So, let's see...about the only thing they DON'T hate about me is my skin color (I'm white.)

I was raised liberal in a near fundie Church of Christ.

I support gay rights and marriage (ban it all or nothing).
