Wasn't he found guilty?
What's the process for sentencing - did he do that yet?

6. And we can safely bet
that this trial won't get the coverage that Michael Jackson is getting.

11. I don't know about that. At least here in Houston,
there are MANY pissed off people. He screwed with peoples' pensions, futures, retirements, and a lot of people at that. This was a huge scandal, so I think it might get some airplay, unless of course he gets a pardon. Now that would rile the masses!

20. It is quite possible that with the trials after the 06 selections
that a pardon is in the works--who knows with these crooks and liars.

8. I have a feeling Kenny boy will leave the country like the Saudis
did after 9/11. This crook will never serve any jail time...he should be hung up by his testicles.

10. Yeah sure. He shares a cell with Osama and Orlando Bosch.
Can you say 'Pardon'? I knew you could.

I can't wait to see who Bush gives a 'get out of jail free' card to in the next 3 years.

12. NO! As a matter of fact, Lay and Skilling tried
Edited on Thu May-26-05 06:57 PM by Ilsa
to steal some insurance money that was owed to the former employees. There was something like $85 million in insurance that was to be paid to the employees, and they petitioned the court to have it awarded to themselves (for attorneys' fees) instead. It was denied, and so employees are going to get checks for a little over $4,000 each.

They have no shame. They don't mind trying to screw the little people again. I'm surprised someone hasn't assassinated those bastards for ruining so many lives.

14. Anyone know which specific court/judge is responsible?
Seems like with the one year anniversary of the indictment rolling around, we should be sticking this in the public eye again.

If anyone knows which court is responsible for moving forward on this, we should start hitting their local papers with LTTEs, hitting the court with letters demanding to know what is their normal time for sentencing, why is he being allowed to avoid punishment.

Surely even the death penalty party would want to see justice served here. Unless the republicans have gone soft on crime, that is.

19. No, and I'm still paying for his crime
My retirement system was heavily invested in Enron. Because of our losses I am paying much more for much less insurance coverage. I no longer get a 13th check at the end of the year. I cannot get insurance for my spouse. Bitter about Kenny
Boy? You bet!
