Edited on Sat May-28-05 09:58 PM by Carni
I am curious about these...the only place I see them being sold is in gas stations, dollar stores and party stores.

So who the hell manufactures these things and what country is sucking up the money?

Has anyone checked into this?

On edit: Also the "God bless America" magnets and all the other stuff I see plastered on the backs of SUVs

2. They Oughta Make 'Em Read...
support My Tax Cut, Screw The Troops!

Because THAT is the REAL sentiment of most of the assholes with these magnets. If it were otherwise, you'd see THEM or THEIR KIDS over there fighting...but you don't, do you?

3. Lots made in China...some made here.
I was in a Linens 'n' Things store and saw the ones made right here.

And if there's a Penny ANYWHERE going to any military-related organization, I'll Eat Your Hat. (Ain't gonna eat MINE, I like 'em too much.)

4. Made in King, North Carolina
Here's a website:

www.magnetamerica.com

I remember seeing something about the business on the local news recently. They sell UNC Tar Heels NCAA Champion magnets too. :)

There are probably other companies that do them too.

6. OK please don't flame me but did you notice under the bumper sticker
section all the stickers are pro-war? All sorts of Nave and Army ones and "land of the free BECAUSE of the brave" and "9/11 Never forget" and "freedom isn't free" "these colors don't run" and then on the bottom there is one lone sticker that says:

"Autism Awareness"

(I'm Trying not to laugh but I've having a hard time at it)

5. Yellow Ribbons
A friend of mine keeps having his stolen off of his car.

Ain't that patriotic? He's stopped buying them because he heard that the money just goes to the manufacturer and not anything to do with the troops.
